Tamos. I’m as sober as I’ll be today. Why did you choose your name? What’s it mean? 

It is a name from ancient, pre-Morning War Khelish, often given to quiet or shy children. Its approximate translation is ‘soft soul’ or ‘gentle spirit’. I am very shy with organics, so it seemed appropriate.

You? Shy? You’re kidding me, Tamos. You seem pretty outgoing to me. *she grins a little bit, rubbing the back of her neck* But I like it. It’s a nice sounding name. 

*Flaps flare as it wrings its hands.* I… I do not know what gave you that impression, ma’am. *It ducks its head.* I am… terribly… shy.

*It crosses its arms and shifts its weight a little.* And thank you. *Flaps lift in a weak attempt at a smile.* There were many names from various dialects that I was considering, but I thought ‘Tamos’ would be… the most ‘aesthetically pleasing’, perhaps. I am… glad… you think so.
