But, to clarify—the game implies EDI and the geth are gone, period. I don’t mind a headcanon that the geth can be salvaged (though I’d still hate destroy because that’s a cruel thing to do to them), but they can’t be remade later. That’s like, as I told someone else when we chatted about this, killing all Salarians and saying it’s okay because one day another amphibian species might evolve on their planet. Okay, sure, they might, but that doesn’t make them Salarian. What made the Salarians who they are—were—is gone. Same is true of geth.))
